This turorial will show you how to make a wallpaper with Pen Tool. This is just a basic tutorial to help you create a easy wallpaper. Follow the instructions and you will get a fine result.

Step 1

Create a new background with 1600x1200 in width and height. Then you can start to color the background black. Totally black.

Step 2

Click on the 'Pen Tool' And use these settings;

Create a new layer (CTRL+SHIFT+N) and then mark out with the 'Pen Tool' like this:

Now you need to press down SHIRT and draw with the mouse, all the red spots in the picture down here. So it gets to nice curve.

Step 5

Now you need to go to the 'Brushl Tool' and use 19px on a hard brush. Like this;

Go back to 'Pen Tool' and then right click on the Pen Symbol you have made in Step 3. And then click on "Stroke Path"

Then you will see this window. Select 'Brush' and then click 'OK'

Duplicate the layer, so your layer area looks like this:

Now you need to 'Merge Down' (CTRL+E) down to the background layer. And then go to 'Image -> Rotate Canvas-> Rotate 90* CW'.

Like this:

Step 10

Then you need go to 'Filter -> Stylize -> Wind'.

Step 11

Set the wind 'From the Right'. And when you have clicked on "OK", go to 'Filter -> Last Filter' (CTRL+F) 2 more times.

Step 12

Then you need go to 'Filter -> Stylize -> Wind'. Set the wind 'From the Left'. And when you have clicked on "OK", go to 'Filter -> Last Filter' (CTRL+F) 2 more times.

Step 13

And then go to 'Image -> Rotate Canvas-> Rotate 90* CCW'.

Step 14

Now you need to give it a bit color, go to 'Image - > Adjustments -> Hue/Saturation' (CTRL+U) and set these settings, (Remember to check 'Colorize' down at the right). Use these settings;

Now you need to fix the 'Layer 1' with 'Blending Options'.

Click in 'Outer Glow' and use these settings:
