How to create a poster from the movie 'Yes Man'

This turorial will show you how to make a cool poster of the movie 'Yes Man' with Jim Carrey.

Step 1

Create a new background with 1600x1200 in width and height.

Step 2

Right Click on the background layer and select 'Blending Options'. Use these settings;

Step 3

Download this picture of Jim Carrey and put him out there you want him.

Step 4

Right Click on your Jim Carrey layer and select 'Blending Options' and use these settigns;

Step 5

Select 'Pen Tool (P)'.

Step 6

Click out a line like this;

Create a new layer (CTRL+SHIFT+N)

Step 8

Hold down 'ALT' button and smooth out the Pen Tool line. Like this;

Right Click and click on 'Stroke Path' and use these settings (DONT FORGET TO SELECT THE BRUSH TOOL TO 5px!);

Step 10

Erase the middle line. Should look like this now;

Right Click on the layer you created with the 'Pen Tool' and click on 'Blending Options' and use these settings;

Step 12

New create a text on the site, just to style it out. And put a default 'Outer Glow' in 'Blending Options' on one text. I choosed this text;

Create a new layer (CTRL+SHIFT+N)

You need to color the new layer totally black. And then go to 'Filter -> Render -> FIbers' and use these settings;

Now you need to select 'Eraser Tool (E)' with a Hardness on 0%. And then just clean the Fiber like this;

Then go to 'Filter -> Blur -> Motion Blur' and select these options;

Step 17

Select the layer to Opacity to 60% and set the layer to 'Screen'.

Step 18

Select 'Brush Tool' and use this brush;

Step 19

Create a new layer (CTRL+SHIFT+N)

Step 20

Brush a little circle on his feets, like this;

Right Click on the layer and select 'Blending Options' and use these settings;

Step 22

Go to 'Filter -> Blur -> Motion Blur' and use these settings;

Finish
